1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the LinguaMeeting platform ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LinguaMeeting provides an online platform that connects language learners with native-speaker coaches for one-on-one language coaching sessions via video conferencing.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Types

  • Students: Individuals seeking language coaching services
  • Coaches: Native speakers providing language coaching services

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 For Students

  • Payment is required before booking sessions
  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Credits purchased are non-refundable except as required by law

4.2 For Coaches

  • Coaches will be compensated according to their agreed rate
  • Platform commission rates are disclosed during onboarding
  • Payments are processed according to the payment schedule agreed upon

5. Booking and Cancellation Policy

5.1 Booking

Students may book available time slots with coaches of their choice. Booking is confirmed upon successful payment.

5.2 Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before the session: Full credit refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: No refund
  • Coach cancellations: Students receive full credit refund

5.3 No-Shows

If a student fails to attend a booked session without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided.

6. Code of Conduct

All users must:

  • Treat others with respect and professionalism
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
  • Not share inappropriate content
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of LinguaMeeting or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our practices.

9. Limitation of Liability

LinguaMeeting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
